What Is MyPlace?

MyPlace is an Australian-designed smart home platform developed by Advantage Air that allows homeowners to control multiple connected devices from a single touchscreen or smartphone app. The modular system can control lighting, garage doors, ceiling fans, motorised blinds, gates, security cameras and more, with the flexibility to add additional devices over time without requiring specialist rewiring in many existing homes.

Instead of using multiple apps for different devices, MyPlace brings everything together into one easy-to-use system.

Whether you're at home, at work or on holiday, you remain connected to your home from almost anywhere.

Why Choose a Smart Home?

Home automation isn't just about technology.

It's about making everyday life easier.

With MyPlace you can:

  • Control your home from anywhere

  • Improve home security

  • Save energy

  • Create personalised routines

  • Automate everyday tasks

  • Reduce unnecessary electricity usage

  • Increase convenience

  • Future-proof your home

As your family's needs change, MyPlace's modular design lets you expand the system with additional compatible devices whenever you're ready.

What Can MyPlace Control?

One of MyPlace's biggest advantages is flexibility. You don't need to automate everything immediately. You can start small and expand your smart home over time.

  • Smart Lighting

  • Smart Garage Doors

  • Smart Air Conditioning

  • Security Cameras

  • Ceiling Fans

  • Motorised Blinds

  • Gates & Entry Systems

  • Future Devices

Smart Home Scenes

One of the most popular MyPlace features is the ability to create custom Scenes.

Instead of controlling each device individually, one tap can perform multiple actions at once.

For example:

Good Morning

  • Open blinds

  • Turn on kitchen lights

  • Switch on the air conditioning

  • Open the garage

Leaving Home

  • Turn off all lights

  • Switch off air conditioning

  • Close garage door

  • Activate security cameras

Movie Night

  • Dim the lights

  • Close blinds

  • Adjust the air conditioning

  • Turn on feature lighting

Welcome Home

  • Open garage door

  • Turn on entry lights

  • Start the air conditioning

  • Turn on outdoor lighting

The latest MyPlace software places a strong focus on these custom scenes, allowing homeowners to automate multiple devices for everyday routines.
